About the vbbi, inc.
Vicksburg Band Boosters Inc. was formed in September 2011 to help raise money to support the Vicksburg Bands programs at Vicksburg High School. For many years the band program was supported by the efforts of the Vicksburg Bands Parents Association also created by parents that wanted to support the school program. The Vicksburg Band Boosters Inc. has a 501(c)3 tax-exempt status which allows tax-deductibility of donations and access to grant money and income and property tax exemptions.
Our goal is to coordinate fundraiser activities during the year to support the different band programs and activities.
Our support includes festival registrations, instrument repairs, marching band and guard accessories, marching band music and drill, assistance for students to attend band camp and spring trips.
We operate under a Board of Directors of nine members and several coordinators.
